Elephants moving across an open Kenyan safari landscape

Private Luxury Safaris · Kenya

Kenya, with room
to reveal itself.

Private safaris built around the right landscape, thoughtful camp selection and a pace that leaves space for both wildlife and stillness.

A safari should feel
coherent, not crowded.

Kenya can hold many different journeys: the open plains of the Maasai Mara, quieter conservancy landscapes, elephant country, northern wilderness, Nairobi and the Indian Ocean coast. The strongest itinerary does not try to collect all of them. It chooses the places that suit the traveller, then connects them well.

Resplendent plans private luxury safaris around your dates, interests, preferred level of privacy and comfort. We coordinate accommodation, guiding, internal flights or road transfers, special experiences and the practical details that allow each chapter to flow naturally.

Every camp and operator is recommended only after current availability, suitability, inclusions and supplier terms have been checked for the specific enquiry.

Three decisions that shape the journey

Begin with purpose.
Then choose the map.

01

The right landscape

The Mara may suit a first safari or migration-season journey. A private conservancy, Laikipia or another Kenyan landscape may better suit travellers seeking fewer vehicles, specialist activities or a slower sense of place.

02

The right rhythm

Early wildlife hours matter, but so do rest, camp life and time to absorb the landscape. We balance game viewing, transfers and optional experiences without filling every day.

03

The right connections

Scheduled safari flights, private aviation and road transfers each have a place. Routing is chosen around luggage, timing, comfort, onward flights and the geography of the final itinerary.

A considered Kenya framework

Safari first.
Then make it yours.

This is not a fixed package. It is a planning rhythm that can expand, contract or connect to the coast.

Chapter 01

Arrive calmly in Nairobi

Protect the international arrival with a private welcome, dependable transfer and a first night that allows the journey to begin without pressure.

Tailor
Chapter 02

Enter the safari landscape

Fly or travel privately to the selected reserve or conservancy, settle into camp and let the first wildlife hours establish the rhythm.

Mara
Chapter 03

Stay long enough

Use early and late hours well, protect the middle of the day and leave flexibility for wildlife movement, photography or a change of pace.

Journal
Chapter 04

Continue, or slow down

Add a contrasting Kenyan landscape, a private Nairobi stay or the Indian Ocean coast only when it strengthens the whole journey.

Coast

What we coordinate.

Resplendent can bring together international and domestic flights, selected camps or lodges, private transfers, guiding preferences, ballooning where appropriate, conservation or cultural experiences, coastal extensions, travel protection and personal support.

Families, couples, private groups and solo travellers need different room configurations, vehicle arrangements and levels of activity. Those details are addressed before the proposal is issued, not left until arrival.

Wildlife sightings, weather-dependent activities, named properties and rates remain subject to current conditions and confirmation. Your proposal makes the recommended sequence, inclusions, exclusions, payment terms and supplier conditions explicit.

Planning questions

Useful answers before
the first proposal.

How far ahead should we plan?

Availability depends on season, room type, group size and the experiences requested. Earlier planning gives us more room to shape the route rather than work around what remains.

Can safari and coast work together?

Yes. The strongest combination protects enough nights in each place and uses air connections intelligently. Our Watamu framework offers one possible coastal chapter.

Is the itinerary private?

The journey is designed privately. Individual services may be scheduled or shared where appropriate, but your proposal will state this clearly and private alternatives can be considered.

Starting from

Maasai Mara: USD 7,350 · Watamu: USD 2,400

Per person sharing. Final pricing reflects travel dates, availability and tailored inclusions. International flights are excluded unless expressly included.
