When you submit an enquiry, request a proposal or proceed with a service, we receive the information you provide, which may include your name, contact details, organisation, travel preferences, traveller information and message. We also use website analytics to understand technical and usage information such as device type, pages viewed and general traffic sources.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare and administer proposals, bookings, invoices and payments, provide requested travel or business services, protect our systems, meet legal obligations and improve our website. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Suppliers and service providers

We share only the information reasonably required with relevant airlines, accommodation providers, destination partners, insurers, payment processors, technology providers and professional advisers. These parties may process information under their own privacy terms and, for international travel, may be located outside Kenya.

Payment information

RTGS is currently our preferred payment method. Where an authorised online, mobile or contactless option is offered, payment credentials are handled by the selected payment provider. Resplendent does not store full card numbers, card security codes or payment PINs. We may retain the invoice reference, payment method, provider reference, amount, currency, status and transaction timestamps for reconciliation and record keeping.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, protected operational storage and encrypted connections where available. No internet or storage system is completely risk-free, so please do not send card numbers, PINs or other payment credentials by email or contact form.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations, then securely delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

Your rights
